The SNEHA team has been organizing Voluntary Blood Donation Camp every year on the occasion of World AIDS Day on 1st December since the year 2004.This initiative is undertaken to imbibe a strong sense of responsibility to our Society. KIDWAI Memorial Institute of Oncology, LIONS club and LIONESS Club have been partnering SNEHA in this initiative.

The SNEHA team has undertaken noteworthy efforts for the rehabilitation of Tsunami affected people. It has worked in close coordination with the Red Cross Society, Cuddalore and Mr. Gagandeep Singh Bedi IAS, the District Collector of Cuddalore. Initially a need assessment was undertaken and a team led by Dr. James visited St. Mary's Orphanage, SC/ST hostel and District Social Welfare Office, Cuddalore and met the victims. It distributed sewing machines to the women for making them self-reliant and took special care to ensure sufficient supply of food, clothes, school bags and study material to the children enrolled in the orphanages in and around Cuddalore. Especially the team was successful in the enrollment of the old age people in the St. Mary's Orphanage in Cuddalore. Today, SNEHA team looks back  with pride for its self less service in ensuring the Tsunami Victims leading a more dignified and self-reliant lives.

The team visited the Loyola School on Bannerghatta Road on the occasion of World Environment Day in 2005. The SNEHA team believes in ¡°A well informed Present leads to a Better Future¡±. In this context, a series of activities were conducted including a skit, quiz, and dance to generate awareness among the school children on the importance of preserving trees, planting samplings, saving water and reducing pollution. 

The skit based on the theme of ¡®Global Warming¡¯ particularly attracted the attention of the children. Tips were given to the children on the reduction in the usage of plastic. The school children wholeheartedly participated in all the activities and voluntarily planted the saplings in the school premises. This program was appreciated by the School Authorities and there were repeated requests from them to conduct such programs in the consecutive years.

The SNEHA team visited Kurubarahalli Village near Magadi, Bangalore. It was instrumental along with KNP+ (Karnataka Network for Positive People) for organizing a medical and health awareness camp for the women and children. Clothes were distributed to nearly 90 children in the village.
